The difference between the Garmin Nuvi 600 models is in some cases only the maps that have been pre-loaded. Since Garmon specifies that a “High-sensitivity receiver” is being used without specifying which although the SIRF Logo appears in the product page, could it be that an older chipset like the SiRFstarII is being used instead?
