Garmin nuvi 1300 Series | Ultra Thin Personal GPS Navigators with CityXplorer Maps

The Garmin nuvi 1300 series Ultra-thin Personal GPS Navigators offers both a thinner form factor for navigation out of the car and improved pedestrian navigation features. The 1300 and 1200 series are the first Garmin Nuvi models to have pedestrian navigation capability enabled through CityXplorer maps. CityXplorer maps are available ($9.99 – $14.99) for select tourist destinations in both North America and Europe, and can easily be downloaded directly to the nüvi.

Garmin 1300 Series

Garmin nuvi 1300 series models all have a 4.3 inch widescreen with 70 percent extra display area than a 3.5 inch screen. All have text-to-speech with the spoken navigation directions including the street name rather than just the turn direction. This feature improves driving safety by providing confirmation that you are on the plotted route without needing to check the map display. All models also have maps of the lower 48 states, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
