The 1390T comes with a 4.3 inch (diagonal) widesceen display, text-to-speech for pronouncement of street names, HotFix for quicker acquisition of GPS satellite locks, Bluetooth for hands free phone calls and shaded contour elevation maps for an understanding of the surrounding terrain.

The Garmin nüvi 1390T is virtually identical to the Garmin nüvi 1490T apart from;

  • a smaller 4.3 inch display compared to 5 inches (diagonal)
  • slightly longer battery life of 4 hours vs 2
  • and the lack of multi-destination routing which is useful for tasks such as deliveries.
