July 22, 2010Garmin nuvi 3760T Portable GPS Navigator ReviewGarmin’s nuvi 3760T is a model in Garmin’s 3700 series which is recognized as an evolutionary jump in portable navigation systems design which has been recognized with a 2010 Red Dot Product Design Award. With a smaller form factor than previous models the nuvi 3760T is truly pocket sized (8.7 mm thick) and weighted (4 ounces) for pedestrian as well as automotive navigation. The traditional plastic case is gone replaced with a brushed aluminum finish casing with smooth, stylish chrome edges. The metal casing along with the glass faced 4.3 inch display gives the Garmin nuvi 3790T a much sturdier feel than plastic.
The Garmin nuvi 3790T is identical to the recently reviewed Garmin nuvi 3790T apart from the lack of voice commands and no 3D Terrain and Buildings in the map displays.
