November 15, 2010Garmin nuvi 2360LMT and 2360LT Portable GPS Navigator with Lifetime Maps and Traffic ReviewGarmin’s nuvi 2360LT and 2360LMT are identical apart from the lifetime maps included with the model with M in the suffix. Given the importance of accurate maps for navigation, the $40 difference is well worth the investment. These model’s have most of the advanced navigation features available from Garmin with a 4.3 inch touchscreen rather than the new capacitive, multi-touch display of the 3700 series. The LT letters in the model suffix indicates that both the nuvi 2360LT and 2360LMT have an FM traffic receiver and lifetime traffic updates. So for the life of the device drivers have access to traffic data for navigation around traffic delays. As well as Bluetooth for hands free phone calls both models have Garmin’s latest voice-activated command capability. Other highlight features are lane assist with junction view, trafficTrends historical traffic, myTrends predictive routing and ecoRoute.
Both the nuvi 2360LT and 2360LMT are near identical to the recently reviewed nuvi 2370LT which comes with transatlantic maps (North America plus Europe). Read this review for full details of all the features of these models. User Reviews and Price Comparisons
